Time is a funny thing to try and figure out. Life is a lot like time. Here one minute seeming so all fire important and gone the next to be forgotten.
A song playing on the radio can transport me back to a moment in history long ago stored away safely. The memory hurts. It tears at my heart and soul. Tears well up in my eyes but yet the song continues to play, oblivious to my pain. I allow the notes, the melody, the words to transport me back in time. Maybe this time I will see it with mature eyes so the pain will lessen.
The last few notes echo in my mind. I take a deep breath, fold the memory back up and tuck it away at the bottom of the stack of memories hoping it stays put this time. I know different. Many years have past and the pain is still there.
How much time does it take to erase the pain I wonder.

My Thoughts for Jan 18th Sunday
I suggested to a client to become more aware of her surroundings. She asked how she was to do this. Now I had to let my mind drift to allow the answer to come and as I waited, slowing my breath to calm the energies it came to me in a flash. Here is a great example of something we can all do to heighten our awareness.
Next time you are out and about, stop yourself for one minute and take in all that is around you.
What are you seeing in this minute in your life?
If you are inside the house, what light source is being used and where is it coming from. If you are outside, what is the light like out there?
What are you smelling? Different smells if you turn a different direction?
What can you taste right now in your mouth? Maybe the last thing you ate?
What do you ears hear? People talking, sounds of nature?
What do you feel on your body right now? Do you feel your clothes against your skin? Air on your face?
What do you sense in the energy around you right now? Does it feel relaxed or tense?
Use this short exercise once or twice a day to start with. I think this is a great way to build up a basic knowledge of what is around you in the moment.
This is my thought for the day. If you would like to see the pictures that make me think, go to http://intuitiveeyes.stumbleupon.com/ I put a few pictures and comments along with some nice sites. Check it out!

My First Thoughts....
I am an author of one book so far and hope to get another two more written in the next few months. I also do a world-wide radio show every Tuesday night at 9pm CST on www.AchieveRadio.com.
I live a boring life with moments of sheer adrenalin bursts. Kind of fun that way. I like to teach people that they are the ones responsible for the lives they are creating. Your very thoughts ripple out to create your future. That makes us all responsible for what we are doing with our life.
Go out and live it. I know I am doing my best to make my days creative.
Email me if you want to chat. Sherri@IntuitiveEyes.com or go to my website at www.IntuitiveEyes.com. I also have a great leather crafting and jewelry website that my b/f Eric and I have started - www.PsyArk.com.
